The Chiang Mai Expat Breakfast Club is a big part of the monthly calendar of events of the CEC! It happens usually 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, with the general meeting happening on the 4th Saturday.
The Expat Breakfast Club is for anyone who calls themselves an expat and is available to attend. Expats come in many variations including retirees, digital nomads, teachers, inhabitants of Chiang Mai, tourists and anyone else who wants to come along. You do not have to be a member of the CEC club, but there are benefits to joining, including 50 baht off the full breakfast option.
Location of the Expat Breakfast Club
Usually around 100 people meet together at the beautiful River Market restaurant along the Ping River and near the Iron Bridge, so it is really easy to find – click on the link here! The Expat Breakfast Club has been meeting at the River Market for over a year and it’s just a great place to enjoy breakfast and the company of friends.
What happens at the Expat Breakfast Club?
It’s just a meeting about friends, no, food, no, friends, no, food, ok, it’s a meeting about friends and food. It’s great to go along and make some new friends as there are always new faces and many old faces. The Expat Breakfast Club is a chance for newcomers to ask questions, to get connected and to enjoy great food.
The Food Options
There are 2 basic options, Coffee only or Full Breakfast, each has a discount for members.
A delicious full breakfast – with many healthy choices, 250฿ (members), 300฿ (non-members)
OR
Coffee/Tea/Water (endless refills) – 80฿ (members), 140฿ (non-members). With cinnamon rolls and coffee cakes á la carte for 40฿.
The full breakfast is just incredible! All you favorite western breakfast options and more.
If you choose the coffee option you can have as many refills as you would like and you can purchase cake or cinnamon rolls for 30 baht each.
All you can eat whilst enjoying the beautiful Mae Ping!
